Ok if anyone remembers my 2K XJ died a while back. Well it has been sitting idle for a while. I have replaced certain things but now I think I have it. I did some searching and someone mentioned that the whole camshaft sensor assembly had pivoted..... Well mine was about 10-20 degrees off from wheer it should be. My question is how do I get it back in line and is it possible the oil pump driveshaft and camshaft pos. sensor assembly could be shot? It had rotated until it could no long turn... Engine block got in the way. It might have froze up or something. But the pulse ring does not spin when i Crank the engine but it is not free to turn either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
