Following FSM instructions is right. I didn't. Luckily I don't have an oil leak. Good job.

The seal seals the harmonic balancer to the cover. But the oil can still get around the harmonic balancer and out through the key way slot.

Harmonic balancer pressed on to crankshaft through an oil seal over a woodruff key and torqued too 80 ft. lbs. Add some sealant to the keyway, makes sense. Attention to detail.
