RJ --

What are your spies reporting about lobster pounds still operating at the end of the month? I found some phone numbers and made a few calls, but so far every place I called said they won't be open after Columbus Day weekend.

We may do our own clambake/lobster boil after all.

I'd like to get some idea how many people we should be expecting. Who's planning to attend, and how many people in your party?

Gang, went up to see the "rents last weekend and did some scouting...same results as Eagle, but no worries, the campground is well equipped to handle us with lobster steamers and the like!

Also my have a line on some wheeling for sat!

hey guys, as i have also looked around and found that everything closes on columbus day weekend i am still available to get lobster at boat price, but i will only get the lobster if i have the money first. sorry to be like that but im a poor college kid and couldnt afford it any other way. So if the consensus is that we cook ourselves then let me know. oh yeah 2 for me

I have talked with RJ about showing you guys some local trails if you want. Let me know how difficult and we can find what you want. Brett

Great -- I think everyone would like to do a bit of wheeling. I'll be in a stock and high-mileage XJ, plus it's 400 miles from home so I CANNOT afford to break anything. I think there will be some other stockers as well, and I know some other folks will have a long drive, so I'd suggest trails that are easy to lower-moderate. Unless there are enough guides to split into two groups, one for easy/moderate and one for moderate/hard-core.

We should have a variety of stuff as well as some of my pals from the area (ie a few folks can hitch rides).

This will be great!! Brett is Very excited to show us around sat!
