That's way more reasonable than the 88 with 5.5 lift and skids that the guy wanted 5000 for. He wanted totr ade me for my street bike.

It might be? I just don't see $3300 for a rig that's got 190k on it. All of the jeeps I've seen for sale for $3300 and up are xj's in great shape WITH low miles like 150k-175k at most. The only other time I've seen xj that much is if they've been locked and geared which, the guy selling it saying "if its locked and geared, it's been beat to shit" his words actually lol. Even though I've seen many clean xj that are locked and geared. Maybe it's changed in the last couple of years? I know I got mine with 190k on the clock and it was in great shape and the original price was $2400 and I managed to talk it down to $2150. everyone I've told that too has told me it was a fair price for that mileage and such. Hell mine even came with a bunch of factory stuff that many look for(skids/LSD rear/1"lift) so I just don't see $3300 for that rig, maybe $2700-$2900 but that's it.


On another note, did some looking in to my welder(Clarke) it's a UK welder and its a 130a-150a welder. Not bad I say lol just don't know how my dad got a British welder? Lol

just like when you bought your jeep you haggled down, it probly wont go for asking price. besides we are not in the north where pirces for stuff are pennies on the doller. I myself have not payed over $800 for any of my xjs.I have bought 4 of them.

as for the welder it has been sold as a sears,harbor freight,northern tool,you can even buy them off amazon,and ebay. you can still get them new, there pretty common it looks like

Head south to Oregon this summer to meet our friends from Cali @ Coos bay and I'd like to take my herd out in the sand what's is cost for a OHV tag? I can't wait to hit the sand I've only ever driven on the beach up here and they aren't dunes lol.

Muddypunk: be careful when your out at the dunes. Lots of people like to get stupid out there and crest or jump the dunes with out spotters.
