....he wishes his Jeep was purple because apparently that's his favorite color.
Huh, maybe it's just coincidence, but Richard Simmons' favorite color is purple too....

Why did my red letters take six weeks.....And Redjeep2.0 got his in six minutes?

It's gotta be a conspiracy

i think redjeep has the best intentions for the NWC. the way he lays them out seem one sided but thats how you take it. if you look at the whole picture it becomes more clear. people just need to get past some things from the past and start fresh.
If people would get together more we would have more going on and more to talk about.
more wheeling trips = more broken junk and more work parties another reason to hang out.
lots can come from getting out from behind your phone or computer we might just find out how fun it is to actually wheel our jeeps and make some good friends along the way

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! 5in of snow expected at 3000' tonight. Possibly 11" at government camp over the weekend. Woohoo!

Five stores and not one of them carries a 1-5/16 socket. I settled on a 34mm. :fingerscrossed:
Working on a 60 build?

I just started getting into 3/4 drive tools recently, got tired of blowing up 1/2 drive stuff. Anything over 1" or so I only buy 3/4 drive now... the HF 3/4 drive breaker bar is incredibly strong btw. It stands up to me with a 4 foot cheater pipe and has loosened every nut I have put it on, including a rusted d30 hub nut that broke 2 Husky 1/2-drive breaker bars, a craftsman 1/2-drive ratchet, another 1/2-drive breaker bar, and laughed at my IR231 impact.

I've also pulled 5-6 d60 pinion nuts with it (1 5/16 socket...) - it's nice to put a cheater pipe on something and just lean back with one arm and pop the nut off first try even though the torque spec is 230 foot pounds and it's rusted in place.

What's it for?
See below.

Working on a 60 build?
Correct.

The pinion nut on my Tera60 was loose, and the pinion bearings were questionably shot. So my plan was to tighten the pinion yoke to assess the play bearings.

However, the pinion nut on a Dana 60 takes a 1-5/16 thin walled socket. I hillbilly'd it with the bench grinder, and shaved a 34mm to get the job done. I think I'll end up chucking it in a friends lather and turning the OD down to 1-11/16.

I figured it had to be either that or changing out a pitman arm.
