Hope all works out.. Keith's a Great guy! I enjoy the times I've spent around him!

Any chance you could snap a picture or two of it when you have free time soon? So does that mean when I want to winch I have to pop my hood and run the controller out from in the engine bay? Sorry, stupid question i know, I've never had or used a winch before..

Torx relocated the box out of the weather and hard wired his winch into the cab, he controls it with switches from there. One thing I would like to do someday! I think theres pics of what he did in his build thread, "the nail salon".

And damn, hope Mopar440 will be ok=[ Prayers to him and his loved ones.

Well sombody forgot to knock on wood today... this is a quote from teresa's FB wall. (mopar440's GF)

SAD DAY INDEED!
This couldn't have happened to a nicer man. He is a great guy, and my thoughts are with him and his family.
Keith was the only other person to step up and make time to help Aaron and I during the planning and flagging/marking phase of the Saddle Up Project last year. He drove clear up from (i think) Albany, or some other town way down south.
It was a long trip for a guy to make, just to come volunteer to work out in the hot sun all day long.
Honestly, if it wasn't for his help that one weekend last summer, I don't know that we would be where we are at today with the trail.
I'm sure he will be fine, if that day working with Keith is any judgement of character, then I say he's got one hell of a spirit, and will pull thru just fine.

GET WELL SOON KEITH!

From what's been posted on his Facebook. He has multiple leg fractures and a torn artery(?). Along with the head and face trauma.

I'm stalking what little I have to go on. But it sounds like he's stable.

Does anyone know how he did this? Sounds like allot of trauma. Was he riding at night? did he have a helmet on? Man I don't even sit om quad unless I have a helmet on.

Bummer to hear about Keith. Keep us updated. Also maybe move it to its own thread?

That's wrong, it should read " 3 or 4 guys in the NWC. Second, since you have never been on a run with the other 94% of the guys in the NWC you should try it, then make a judgment call. The few guys that I think you are referring too don't go on that many runs anyway. The ones that do go on the runs, have a great time with 0 bullshit.

Here's where I chose to mount my solenoid pack from my Warn.

For the winch control plug in, I relocated it to my bumper. On my 9.5XP it already came with the extended wiring, but I would imagine extending the wires wouldn't be an issue if yours is mounted on the pack.

I also run in cab controls, so I rarely use my remote except while re-spooling my cable. Here's a link to my write up on that.
