It is just like anything else, before you buy something big, say a new jeep part that you will have to rely on, on the trail. You research it and find out what others have to say. If all the reviews and discussion on that part are negative, why the hell would you buy it.

I said it before when nw99xj was running for pres, I had hoped to see things change so that I could go on runs because most of them look fun, challenging and overall a good time. I voted for him based on that, and had hoped for it. But it's not gooing to happen.

Dam man, I never thought about all things you see as a toe truck driver, I just thought if the actual towing. That's pretty crazy, how did you see a decomposed body?? That's gotta be a story..?

And as far as all this 'political bull' going on in the thread... I didn't see what started it and it's been deleted now, but come on guys, can't we just get along??

You mad bro? All bet even if the NWC changed you still wouldn't go on runs. joined in 2011. And still haven't made a run, ya probably not gonna.. good job web wheeling though!

Usually 2awg would be the minimum, but I would go with 0 (ot) gauge if you can.

I relocated my solenoid box under the hood. I had some 2 gauge leads made up at a local welding shop. If I remember right they were around 7ft in length. I've been running this setup for a few years with no issues.

Any chance you could snap a picture or two of it when you have free time soon? So does that mean when I want to winch I have to pop my hood and run the controller out from in the engine bay? Sorry, stupid question i know, I've never had or used a winch before..
