oh and on an up note I got my air compressor in good working order. I got a new start up capacitor for $11 at Grainger and that made it better but didn't completely fix it; so I removed the motor and took it apart and cleaned every contact in the motor on my work bench, put it back together, now I no longer have to help the compressor start up.

I frickin love this thread, .....between the HILARIOUS bickering between NW-ZJ-Scott & AwesomeXJ (i literally bout came to tears over the last couple pages laughing so hard - thank you BOTH for that btw) and now the little history lesson, i'm both happy AND educated... two things that ordinarily dont go hand in hand.

I looked at a ZJ there that they said worked perfectly. They didn't want me taking it on the highway, and after i drove it down a residential road I see why.
I couldn't even hear the sales guy next to me at 15 due to vibes from a non SYEd 4.5" lift. For giggles I offered them sticker price in cash if they fixed the vibes and they balked and said that was the way all 4x4s sounded with a lift.
"it's just the tires" they said.
32" ATs?? Don't think so. My MTs make no noise at that speed.
Tried to get me on a payment plan with 1/4 down. They had to go in back to discuss a cash sale offer like I was screwin' THEM.. Sketchy.
Do not buy there.

Heh we bought my Mom's truck there but we got the better part of that deal. They gave us 5k for her V6 mustang with a salvage title, dead a/c and a busted motor mount.
