It's hard to see, but there's a Bridgeport style mill in front of that fork lift.

Lower ball joint on a Dana 30, passenger side. No matter what I do I can't get it to come out. I've hit it with a full size sledge hammer, hit the a arm that it's in, it won't budge. I don't have a press otherwise I'd try that, but idk what else to do. I've smacked it pretty dam hard with that 8lb sledge hammer.
Any advice?
Yeah. Option A: rent a ball joint press, Option B: Buy a ball joint press.
Rent:autoZone
Buy:Harbor freight
Please don't do the hammer method. That stresses me out!

hand held grinder- $10
cutting door off- 35 min
little old lady asking if you sold your door for crack- priceless...
Okay next time I go up there ill stop at auto zone and rent one. Thanks guys

lol ya, got a $10 grinder from HF and a cutting disk and just un bolted the door then cut the lower part of the hinge off just like all the write ups show for the early style hinges. lol not hard at all lol
