The goal is a 1000#. So if needed I can use my XJ to move my YJ and still be within the factory tow capacity of the XJ.

I put my trailer on a trucker scale and took it off the truck so that's the total weight ( not just the rear axles, empty)
foot and both axles on the scale

my 12000# scales at about 2800-3000# but Im also not afraid to over load it by a few tons. its also rated 12000 on the deck not total.
