CSB_YJ has a good running 2.5l for sale, its a TBI so you would have to move everything from yours but I dont think he wanted alot for it.
^ Swap in to get the Black Sheep up and running... build turbo 'paned small block on side.

Cause I plan on putting my ac back together 
I've said it before and I'll say it again, D&R is the best. The tech spent about 20 minutes troubleshooting my CB setup and did whatever he could to fix it without me buying new parts and, of course, no charge for the labor or parts. CB works like a champ again!

Contacts at the antenna end of the coax had some corrosion on them so he replaced those, then the radio was decent. Checked the antenna and where the coil attached to the base had come loose. Picked up a Francis with an internal wrap and I shouldn't break it again.

I cannot believe how hard it is to buy a cherokee these days! Trying to get a jeep for my brother, cash in hand. Out of 10 jeeps 4 flaked right out of the gate, 2 are 'broke down', 1 has a for sale ad but 'doesn't know if he wants to sell it', 1 still communicating with, and the 2 I have looked at were grosly overpriced pieces of shit!
FML, I hate flakey Craigslist people.... Anyone know of any decent XJ's for sale? Preferably late model but open to most anything if its relatively clean and in good running condition. Would like to find one already 'started' (lift/wheels/tires/gears/etc) but also not opposed to a decent stocker if the price is right....

I've been sitting here brainstorming and I think I'm just gonna build one for him. That way it will be exactly what he wants.... I can build a better rig for less money than 90% of these ass hats want for their half built rigs. Even with all the shit I've done/bought I don't know if I even have 5k in mine and that's including the price of the jeep itself....
I think I can build a pretty well set up rig for 35's for about 6k.... Really F'd up not buying that crazy '97 up by Seattle with the hybrid cage, fully built/geared/arb'd d30/c8.25, tnt long arms, 35's, sliders, bumpers, winch and all kinds of other cool shit for $7,500 AND it was fresh, not all beat....
I just want to get him a damn rig so he can start wheelin....

I just learned my Jeep commander has a Full-float Chrysler 8.25 29spline. With Unit-bearings

Yup, the later 8.25 went full float. I had ideas of finding one and swapping it to the rear of my jeep but if I remember right, those axles are wider too. So our 8.25 axle shafts don't work.
Even with the same width, your semi-float shafts wont do you much good in a full-float housing.
