Nice picture. I just returned from Longview yesterday. Oh what fun it was. Once I got south of Eugene the roads were fine. It just took me 4 hours to go from Longview to Eugene. Must have passed at least 20 smashed up vehicles of all types between Vancouver and Salem. Wasn't in my heep, but it was an all wheel drive at least. I haven't even tried my heep in snowy conditions since I took the 242 out of it. In theory, just lock my hubs and pull the front into or out of 4wd as needed, but :dunno:

Picked it up used so I didn't feel bad welding it up to keep it from being so loose.

Nope. Sold mine in stock form to some dick weed from up north. It was parted out a year later, and is probably now a Whirlpool dishwasher.

The motor has never been rebuilt. We have put 3 timing chain sets in it though.
