I want to do this same thing. Its really been a dream on mine. I have seen some crappy ones but I have also seen some really nice setups. I want to do the boxes on each side of the camper like this one. I also would like to do it on a 22k trailer.

This is a great way to haul a rig. You could then pull the camper off if you rented a hotel. Haul your friends jeep down with you and make them pay for half the fuel and lodging. Then your trip just cost half as much. This would work for long trips like to moab when you go with friends. I will do this some day. Hopefully sooner then later.
