Depends on your skills. I do this for a living and have connections though work for the material.

I've thought several times about making a trailer for my ATV's but I'm a perfectionists, it would take me forever to finish it. Plus I never know if I'm going to keep my ATV's and although a trailer still comes in handy for carrying things and camping, it would change the configuration dramatically. But the biggest reason is I have no place to park it.

The house we bought has a place next to it that's just dirt, but we decided that's valuable space for a garden, since its the only place in the yard for direct sunlight
I could leave it at the lake but, then it would be an ATV trailer, to far to drive to use for camping at TSF, plus I'm afraid if I left it down there it would get stolen.

Go get a $199.. Fold up one from one of the many places that sell them. When not in use, fold it up and shove it in the corner. That what I do with my engine hoist.
