NP242 transfercase out of a 1990 XJ

I have a NP242 transfercase out of a 1990 XJ (21 Spline). It has an extended slip yoke installed. I was using this on a RE 4.5inch lift. Nothing is wrong with anything, it was pulled so I could put in a 231 with Sye.

Rear drive shaft out of a 1990 XJ. Came out of a jeep with a NP242 and Dana 44. I believe the same u joint mates up with a dana 35.

will that d/s work with 242 with a hack n tap sye, dont think so but worth a try.

No it wont work with a hack and tap, its a stock Drive shaft not a CV..

Transfer case sold! Still have the drive shaft unless he takes it too...
