i have a np231 transfer case with a currie slip yoke eliminator from an xj with an ax15 manual trans. it should fit a zj with an automatic, but will not fit an xj with an auto unless you trim or swap the input shaft.
i recently went through this case and everything is good. swapped it for a np241j.
$250 firm.
