yeah fixed the u-joints and that was'nt the problem. all the front end is fine. brought it to my mechanic and hes telling me to investagae the front diff.so thats frist then the lift and i also just got a new union job so i have to work the next 2 weekends so im thinking the weekend of monday may 8th(weekend after i turn 21) and by then it should be fixed and ill have everything i need.
 
Why put allll that effort into your 231? Just slide in a nice new 4-speed Atlas.

It's only money.
 
i didnt do it myself.......i had to have a trans shop do it because i have no time with my new job working 7 days a week otherwise i would have done it myself because i would have like to learn how to rebuild it a TC. but when you dont have the time sometime you just have to bite the bullet....right? at least it wont happen on the trail. on the plus side the TC is still under warrenty when i put my sye in as long as i do it correctly....which i will. so im going to pay off the bill then do my lift folks.
