Hey Im out west some, Algonquin, Im willing to lend a hand. Seems to be making out pretty well. A few questions though. What year, mileage, condition. All that kind of fun stuff. Oh yea also you got a decent set of tools and the essentals to make this thing happen smoothly.
Just trying to elliminate any issues ahead of time.
BTW. sounds like u joints problably on the front axle.

yeah your not far at all XJsquared 30 min or so. and thanks for being down to wrench. ok my XJ is a 93 with about 175,000 miles, over all mechanicly sound(3 XJ's in front of my house and we keep em up pretty well) i have a little hearter convroll valve leak(replaced it twice its a piece of crap), and a small leak from my head gasket i beleave(no biggy) bodys pretty sound but the floor pan could use some work there are a few rust holes. and last of all my engin knocks and ticks a bit. but from what i understand most XJ's do. Deffinitly have a decent set of tools(we run air tools too) but by all means bring anything you think might be usefull. thanks tim

P.S yeah i hope its the front u-joints i would have done thoughs today when i did the rear DS today, but NAPA didnt have em instock so they are on order.

Even better.

Download Google toolbar. It has one built in, you just type on the regular forum page, click the toolbar and it does its business.

1. You have to havet a credit card or a checking account to become a member right, because i dont have either. im workin on that

2. How do i find about events so thqt i can can show up...and ill bring the smores

Now if that didn't state the 'true' nature of the MWC, I don't know what would.
 
The REV speaks the truth. I've been a member for 2 years and been wheeling with the MWC crew but since I fell asleep and missed a campfire, I am still only a "provisional member of the MWC."

It's kinda like whether a someone is "a friend of yours," or if he's " a friend of ours!"

Basically they wait, get you so drunk you don't know what you are doing, wait till you pass out, and then do great things... terrible terrible things... but GREAT.:shocked:

Frist off, im sorry for jumping the gun on asking for help, i didnt realize that NAXJA was such a close nit group and had a sort of protocal to follow. Im deffinitly down to help even though i dont know muchat all......but you learn by geting your hands dirty right? . So im there if anyone needs a tool sherpa. tim
