'nother Ford problem...

Took my Exploder in today for inspection and I failed for front wheel bearings and the rear shackles are rusted out so they need replacement. How hard are these to fix & will I need any special tools?

iirc the shackles should be an easy fix but the wheel bearings will require some special tool, right?

It's a 93 xlt, 4 door, 4x4, 4.0 w/auto D35 front & 8.8(?) rear

I can't believe they have inspections that strict in Pennsylvania. Here in TX they only check the basic things. Headlights, Signals, Brake Lights, Hazards, Wipers, Horn. I wonder which state has the strictest regulations.

Actually this was from the guy that's quite loose about what's inspected. Oh well...
