NOTE TO POTENTIAL BUYERS
After reading the thread below about a week ago, I went to www.northridge4x4.com and searched for bumpers there trying to find a good price. The Warn front bumper without the grill guard was priced at $299.00. I immediately called NR4x4 to verify the price and check to see how much shipping would be since they are located on the other side of the US. He couldn't find it so he asked to call me back in 5 minutes which he did. Just so happens the guy on the phone said that was the correct price at $299.00. I then purchased the bumper online, since it would be easier and I would have a receipt. Note that Quadratec sells this exact bumper for $519. How could NR4x4 be able to sell it this cheap, I don't know but I was excited. When I got off work, I had a voicemail from NR4x4 to give them a call. I figured it was them informing me about the shipping cost. Wrong. The guy on the phone said that the bumper was mispriced and was supposed to be $599.00. How can they be the much over Quadratec is something I'd like to know, but he said in no way they'd be able to let me have it for $299 and he hung up. I think this is horrible customer service considering I not only have a receipt for the purchase, but I also had the price verified on the phone. I don't believe I am trying to 'rip them off' since I verified the price. I did everything in my part for the $299, now NR4x4 should do there part. Yes they would be loosing money on this bumper, but if you work in the Jeep industry, seeing something that looks expensive and is priced cheap should be reviewed. I have thought since that the least they could have done is offer it to me at cost.
Is it worth it to send this into the BBB?
