next was to fix the flexage problem
before-as far as it would go up the ramp, even in 4x4.

and after

then i fixed the door a little better, but it still won't open, painted teh wheels, and coaxed more flex out of her.

as she sits now. bone stock suspension, no swaybars. welded rear. i am keeping it street legal purely so i can go to livingston with it, and where i wheel at will require about 1 mile of road driving from trail to trail.

the XJ looked much better, but i sold it at teh time due ot needs. i needed a truck and the XJ just would not cut it pulling trailers and hauling my quad. so i was forced to sell. now i have the truck and a jeep to.

livingston is exit 49 off I-75. i don't know where radcliff is though. looking on google maps, you are Due east of livingston.

never heard of nagca before, but will have to check it out. but thats one thing i have found, is the completely differnt attitudes on differnt forums. here seems kinda laid back, but not nearly as laid back and humorous as FSC. then pirate is to hard core for someone like me building a low budget rig, jeep forum is a great source, but they seem up tight and critical of work if thats not the normal way of doing things. many different attitudes and receptions towards my jeep and trucks based on where i show them off at.

she runs great actually, just has the door damage and the tranny slips a little, but the 4.0 runs like a top.

i doubt i trade it for an Xj, but if the right deal comes along i may buy one so i have two jeeps.

not a bad looking jeep but you should have kept your XJ... Where is livingston in relation to Radcliff, ky. I might hit you up on that offer if i can get my waggie ready in time.

I believe livingston is Daniel Boone National Forest aint it?

a small portion, but not all of it is.

i thought so... Thats now my excuse to go down more, go wheel stay with some buddies at Morehead(hopefully find a party and some girls) and then go back and wheel...

well i was told today by someone that it is closed to all trucks not, even licensed ones. he said he was down there at the 49 exit and there is a sign saying to stay out. i had planned on going down there saturday till i was told that.

Livingston is closed except for the main gravel road.

thats what i was told. the KY state police said as long as you obey no tresspassing signs and such it is open. but i guess there are signs posted everywhere now.

Do a front to rear swap on her.

Find some 4.5 inch xj ones.
