We are helping out Off Track Motorsports and racing this FJ Cruiser in the upcoming BOR races and maybe some BITD races too.

John from Auburn Car Repair and Offroad kicked ass on the prep and has spent many hours working on getting it back into race mode.

1st place in class 7 at the BOR race in Wendover, not bad for the teams first race ever!

I suppose I could get used to anything if I had enough time, but the little bit that I've driven them I *hated* the things. No visibility from the back, front or sides. Couldn't see well enough to know if I was coming or going.
The engine, brakes & suspension all get high marks from me - but they need bigger windows & a front end re design IMHO.

For immediate release:

Off-Track Motorsports (OTM) would like to thank all of our sponsors for their contributions over the past few months. OTM was formed in the winter of 2011 partnering with 4wd Toyota Owner Magazine to prep and race their 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. After a rigorous prep schedule OTM headed to the Wendover 300 and competed in the team’s first race on May 28, 2011. After 8 hours 22 minutes, number 725 crossed the finish line in first place. The amount of prep and pre-race planning was clear when 725 finished the race without having to stop for repairs once. Off-Track Motorsports would like to thank Master-Pull Recovery Gear, Yukon Gear and Axle, 4wd Toyota Owner Magazine, Auburn Car Repair and Offroad, WAIV Aerospace, Bellevue Spine, Asfir 4x4, Total Chaos Suspension, Security Race Products, Ruff Stuff Specialties, Sway-A-Way Shocks, FAST undercar, All-Pro offroad, PCI Race Radios and HID Source. In addition we would like to thank everyone who helped out in pre-race prep as well as race support.
