Not a Jeep, but need help. Blown Piston in 04 Sentra Nissan says MUD build up?

whelp, we're all set, Nissan USA will be covering this in it's entirety with the warranty, and they ordered the engine on the spot when I got there. So when the car died in Massachusetts we went down with a 18ft trailer and got it. I should have thought of this before but whatever. The "MUD" wasn't hard, I moved it with my pinky, the mud wasn't from North Carolina either...which is redder than ours. So I went "My Cousin Vinny" on their ass. Take a look at the pictures..."Does their case hold water?"

Bullshit. I've had catalytic converters clogged up so bad the motor wouldn't start, and when it did, stumbled at idle. Where did the mud come from though? It's too bad, because it does give them a reason to fuck around.

You can go higher up than this, and I would while the car is still under warranty. Totally unacceptable, mud or not. A blockage in the exhaust will not cause a piston to 'blow.' I would ask them to elaborate on what they mean by blow? Detonation? Melted, Rings?

Was it flatbedded to the dealer, maybe the exhaust had the dirt pushed into it when it was unloaded...

Look at the pictures guys, that's exactly what happened. Pretty easy to see if you look for a second. The angle coming off of the flat bed ramps was pretty extreme, therefore forced dirt into the muffler. That was their whole case, until I got there that is =)
