The Firestone in Elk Grove, on Higgins, north side of the airport.
Eric who used to be a member here and his dad run it.
They are both strait shooters.

depends on what kind of stuff you are looking to get done. suburban driveline in villa park has always been straight with me.

here is the deal....

Not matter where you go and what you have done at any price, someone, somewhere, will tell you that you got burned.

my advice...

Get a price in advance, plan to pay that price +10% just in case.

if you are happy with that price and the work is good, then you are OK.

there are no deals, no shortcuts, no 'magic" shops.

Labor is around $95 an hour last I checked in this area, keep that in mind.

or regular maintenance?
regular maintenance stuff is the starting point where every jeeper should learn a little about his jeep.
order a pizza and a haynes manual and call some friends or see if someone on here could use a good lunch
ive got 2 friends coming over tomarrow to help with a project...

Wow. We only charge $50/hour at the shop I work at part time. It is just the two of us though.

ya the shop that i use is 50 or 55.00 too
the ford dealer charges 95

Chicago IL 60641 773 577 5701.... might be kind of far for you but i am from the chicagoland area "the city" but this guy tom is the best realy knows his jeeps and trucks cars too knows me real well..... ill get parts through him so i dont have to pay shiping and he will not let me leave with the part if i cant tell him how to uninstall and install the new one.lol iv had to call him during an install and he even stayed on the phone and walked me through it realy good guy. but yeah thaought id through him out there..oh and yeah he is 90somthing an hour but worth every penny if ya ask me stands by his parts too..
