Norfolk, Va. Beach, Hampton, and surrounding areas

As soon as I finish the Kitchen, then I will start on the Bar
 
sweet hopefully i will still be in the area when you get it done. going back into the service, this time not as a squid but as a coastie (cue the groaning and bad jokes now)
and i am trying to go out west to san fran since its close to lake tahoe and the 'con trail.
 
Im trying to get accepted to be a Flight Engineer on the Black hawk so that should also take me out west
 
tidewater four wheelers rock! not really. they are they bunch of buttpirates that when emailed about being new to the area and looking to wheel and about their club never respond. but thats cool, not really into the redneck thing anyway.

I live in Suffolk and have been trying to get the heep on the road, but the few Tidewater four wheelers that I have met have been cool. Some nice rigs! The meetings just so happen to fall on every Wednesday that I have to work but I have been told that is the way to contact people. We (friends, not the club) were in Carova last weekend and had some sand/mud/lots o rainwater to wheel in. Some nice sandy hills to mess around on, nothing strenous. Long ride there but closer than Buxton!
 
hey all. i just saw this thread too. I live in suffolk, va. stationed at little creek. i am also looking for local XJ'ers. I will ask my wife and maybe we can do some cooking out/wrenching at my house? i have 2 empty garages!
 
Im up here in Hampton, I used to live down there by LC but it was costing to much in Gas to travel all the way up here to Langley every day..

let me know if you need to wrench sometime. i will be more than happy to lend a garage. heck, we can turn it into a cookout.
 
Works for me and I can offer the same, Ive got a lot of projects going on in my garage right now but i can make room
 
I have a garage and a long concrete driveway. Know where there is some land in Gates County with mostly mud to wheel in. Haven't explored it yet, though. Would be legal wheeling, I know the people who own it. Josh, do you live off of Edwards? I saw a silver XJ with some lift, didn't get a close look at it.
 
josh i had no idea that you lived next door to me, (compared to most other jeepers in the area anyway) lol im off of fredrick and airline in portsmouth, about 10 mins away

I need to find a couple jeepin buddies to hang out with, all my friends were from my ship while i was in, now they all transfered and my girl and i just brokeup so lol now im REALLY pathetic. :D
 
i just found out we go on deployment this month. so i will be back in december. there is a tidewater fourwheeler (2 of em) that live out here. one is ken i think with the blue YJ. i see him and his wife alot around town. the other is harold. with the xj.
 
Go to the Advanced auto parts out side the naval stations gate 5 on hampton Blvd. Shortyxj on here owns that shop. We used to get together at his store quite often.
 
Could be interested in a M&G, just need a little notice since I travel for work quite a bit.
