I seem to have been noticing alot of Lifted XJs in the area, and was thinking about trying to get some people together and hit some trails, Meet and Greets, cookout, wrenching party or something or just gettingtogether and drink some beer... Post and see what Ideas and stuff

Our local club is Tidewater Fourwheelers.
They just had an annual trail run at Oak Ridge Estate weekend before last.
I know I saw you over on the boards. Try to make one of the meetings, as they are the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Greenbriar Jeep.
There are alot of lifted XJs around here, but most are poser rigs, as the tell tale brushguards scream.

If you see Rick Austin at one of the Tidewater meetings, tell him I say hello. His job has him travelling alot, so I dunno how often he makes the meetings.

We just moved to the Norfolk area (Navy). I had my husband's Xj built up some while he was deployed. It looks kinda poser right now due to low funds for new tires and rims, so it sits on 31's and the shiny rims off a rubicon. Its green has an RE4.5 on it and shtuffs. We are having zero luck meeting anyone here...but we are all for it!!
We'd love to have a M&G at our house sometime or go to one. Post up people!!!

We have a decent XJ contingency in our club of which I have assumed ring-leadership, seems the XJers are the beer drinkers, too. I broken right now (me not my Jeep) as I was the "broken leg guy" at the aforementioned Virginia 4 wheel drive assoc. run a few weekends ago....I tried to put together a mailing list before for "local" 
Ns but VA is a tweener state in there between the NA and SE chapters. Didnt work out too well.

We need to all get together and Meet each other and try and make this XJ community better... I just bought a house 2 weeks ago and been remodling so my house is no good right now, but I am building a full Bar in the house, and when it is completed I will have everyone come over for a Meet and greet.. I think for the first meet it might be better to do it at a public location (easier to find), and work from there... Any ideas?

We are good with anywhere, as long as we have a few days notice...( have 2 yr old twins so we have to get a sitter).Or on short notice, the beasts would have to come with us.
We don't really know any cool places yet, we have only been to 2 bars Ship's Cabin and the Dockside here in Norfolk(pretty fun)

It's a green XJ on 31's, until some more $$$ flows this way.It's got RE4.5, and some really blingin rims hahahah, actually he has the stock rims and tires off a (my) TJ on it until we/he decides what route to go with tires/rims. We are in the process of building my heep up to CA standards for when we move back there next year.
We'll know by this evening if we have a sitter for this Sat, if thats good for anyone else.
