I'm used to a lot of technical expertise on this board, beyond automotive issues. So, anyone out there have any experiences with companies that convert 8mm/Super8mm film to DVD?
Search engines turn up a lot of companies - it's relatively easy to compare prices, but not so easy to decide who to trust with a couple thousand feet of family movies 30 - 50 years old.
Comments, cautions, or recommendations would be appreciated.
