Non-disco p-side D30 shaft?

Let it be known that disco axles in a non-disco rig suck. Anyhow, I've got one non-disco shaft that I'm going to swap in. I want to have a spare, though.

Has anyone got a shaft that they can make me a good deal on? Hub, no hub, whatever. Sorry, but if it comes with a 200% mark-up, I'll go pull it myself from PnP. Thanks!

how's the lock-washer and zip-tie doing? :D

It's like an LP 44 with leafs: All the cool kids may give me shit, but most of the time it does what I need it to do. :D

I'm just ready to step up to the "good" stuff.

There is a red 95' xj in the Rancho Cordova pnp. I'm pretty sure it still had the front axle in tact. If it had abs then it would have the 297 u-joints. I have a pair of non disco 297 shafts but my bro-in-law needs these for spares for his rig. I sold my other 2 pairs. Are you looking only for the 297 non disco shafts or will the 260 non discos work? Either way that 95' should have what you need. Maybe someone can go there and check for you. Dan is going to the Stockton pnp. He could probably keep and eye out for you there. I do see these shafts show up on ebay quite often, especially the 260 u-jointed ones, check there Phil.

Sorry for the mark up on the dana 44 I found.

Uh, I'm not there yet Brett. I've settled down some and am not worrying as much right now. But I'd have to say probably not.

If nothing shows up I may hit PnP Friday or Saturday morning on my way out of town. I just figured I could put a couple bucks into someone's pocket. It's hopefully going to be just a spare, so I'm not too concerned about 260 v 297, but 297s are always better.

Phil, I got a couple of sets laying around. One 260 set and one 297/760 set with welded caps. Also got a unit bearing if ya need one.

Here's some nice Yukon 4340 alloys on ebay inner and outers for $400.

Not a bad deal, except you cannot run the outers unless you go with a manual hub conversion. But I would suggest Yukon inners and maybe Spicer outers with 760 u-joints with welded caps or Longfields in the shafts.

I did have 2 sets for sale, but sold them already.

That is way more than I want to spend on a 30 right now. I'm not even locked up front, forget a hub conversion and alloy shafts. I'm going to get Jes' set with 297s.
