Wow, I just read the lawsuit and it makes the Forest Service and the contractors look extremely neglegent. Looking at the pictures, the contractors have done more damage trying to destroy the trails.

Let's hope that good can come out of this.

You mean there is a slight possibilty I can wheel Tellico with you guys? Woohoo!

From what I have read and understand the 60 days is up on Friday. That NOI was filed in January. There is a current investigation into the allegations and they have 120 after the 60 to file the actual suit I think I understood that right. Thankfully there is a hydrologist and civil engineer at Clemson, I think that is where he is, that wheels! Another interesting development is that a former forest service employee has 2600 acres he is trying to get opened into a private park. Smell fishy? Pun intended!

The forest service and contractors don't look negligent, they 100 percent are negligent. I hold out hope one day that ill get to share tellico with Sam, she's heard stories and seen pictures, and its where I've met some of my closest friends, I'm not holding out a lot of hope though, but if it does happen ill be first in line with work gloves and jeep in tow to put the trail system back together

Its like looking at photos of your hot as hell ex girlfriend who dumped you... it only gets your hopes up for no reason, then you end up sad again. It would be great, but guys, don't get your hopes up too much.

Eh, pretty much been over it for a while, but yeah, been there. Most men have been haha. But yeah, Tellico was very special for me at least, and Im just tired of getting my hopes up for no reason.

While I understand your point I have to say it needs to happen. And we, the wheelers, need to win. Wasn't it WITC that was shut down BC of water quality and or water crossings? This has such sweeping implications its not even funny. They could use this to shut down any and all parks in the country that are in or around streams. It is too big to ignore. :dunno:
