NO MORE Affirmative action or Race cards!

Affirmative Action is a bunch of crap. A friend fo mine went to KU Med, to make it short he got a 97% on his test out exam. But he didn't get the internship with the forensics lab here in KC, so black dude who got a 72% on his exam did. That is 2% above a failing grade.
Aa needs to be abolished. 45% of all black men in the Kansas City Metro are jobless, and its not because white people took the jobs. It's because they drop out of school , use drugs, or in most cases are felons with no skills. But the liberal rag The Kansas City Star spun to be that local employers were not in line with the AA rules. We have a project going on here in town to refurbish a neighborhood. Local activist and a tv station "broke" the story that not enough black people were working on the job. They shut them down because they couldn't find any blacks who could pass the apprentice exams at the local union hall and now the company who was doing the work is getting a bad rap for not being able to do the job, oh yea the job in the mostly black hood
 
there were a few props in a couple states last night that were passed that made AA illegal. It should be, its a bunch of bs. Every job I've ever had, theres been some moron black man/woman in management that doesn't know what the hell's going on, and are only there to make the management team look "diverse." White America is just too afraid to make it fair because they're scared to death of being called racist. This just in: People all over the nation elected an under-experienced black man to the presidency because he's black. Tell me thats not affirmative action...

That's not affirmative action.

The real intent of AA isn't bad. Establishing quotas is illegal and was never part of the design. Hiring less qualified people of color, different ethnicity, or women over another person simply because they are a minority is also not the intent of AA. Unfortunately, because of the zeal or fear of some employers, quotas were established and less qualified minorities were hired over more qualified candidates. For this reason, I don't support AA. It isn't the fault of the program, but the abuse or misuse of it.

I almost go fired at work today because a supivisor told my boss I mad a racial comment and she was very offended ....

Heres he story ... (and I have pleantly of witness and my boss isnt a moron hence me still having my job)

We were having a rather interesting discussion today on the belt loading the trucks about out newly elected president. And as a matter of fact we were all being adult and it was actually rather good discussion, when my boss came up and said he needed to talk to me and looked rather ticked. I was like ah crap here we go where my union rep (god bless the teamsters) he processes to tell me I highly offended a supervisor with a racial comment I made (He is African American as well) So i looked @ him puzzled and was like what. He said well as said supervisor was walking past your belt she (note the she and African American as well) herd you make a comment saying " we are all screwed, we voted in a socialist and more people then ever will be on some sort of government aid" and she immediately thought i made that statement because he is Black and there is a prejudice ageist black and not working and being on welfare .... I looked at him and said excuse me!? It has nothing to do with what color and or nationality he is ... I could care less I plainly think on a purely potical stance he is not the person to be running our country ... He then proceeds to tell me I just need to watch what I say ... I was like ok fine the next time some I here someone of color say something bad about a Bush and or McCain I am going to you with threats of racism because they said that about him because he is white. There was a long pause ... He then says you know what Dan you are 100% right and he goes I will talk to her and take care of this ...

I figured If I'm going down I'm going down with a fight thank god I know my Boss well enough that I could say that ... But still this is complete and utter ******** ... so know I cant say anthing bad about our President in fear of being labeled a racist? NO F'IN WAY ... AS STATED BEFORE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION IS OFFICIALLY OUT THE WINDOW ...
 
Sounds like some people you work with have a guilty conscience, and get really defensive really easily....hmmmm....

Sometimes, the truth hurts I guess...
 
and by no means am I a raciest person ... but It just ticks me off that this is the stupid shit we are gonna have to deal with for the next 4 years

Most of the people I work with are cool like that ... I work @ UPS we start @ like 4AM on a normal day ... we are all a lil crazy and of course we entertain ourselves .... and the worst part is the person I "offended" I like never see ...

I've known people like this....to pull out the race card whenever it's convenient for them. They use it to get what they want, because they know it makes certain people quiver in their shoes. However, what this incompetent supervisor did has nothing to do with Affirmative Action.
 
Yes it does .. if they wana quote be equal with "us" then "we" are equal to them ... If they wana talk shit about "my president" i can talk shit about "their president"

I don't disagree that real equality is not a one-way street. And I don't disagree with your point above. But, you're blaming this on Affirmative Action, which has NOTHING to do with it. It's painfully obvious you know little about AA because you cite it as the cause of your situation.

no im not citing it as a cause you associated what I said with my last statement .. Im just stating AA should be out the window ...
