Nice Jeep for sale on eBay - V8!

So it has a grand cherokee 5.2L with the RE46 ( I think it was behind the 5.9L) and has the RE47 internals. Would be nice to have the 5.9L. vs the 5.2L. 230HP stock, is it worth it. What do yall think is this a candidate for Sleigh numero dos?

does that thing have a D35 underneath it? It almost looks like it

the 46re came behind 5.9s, and 5.2s and the 47re was a diesel, not everything can be swapped from a 46 to a 47......the case on the 47 is different, more bracing, but basically they are the same. you can swap some parts, like cluthes and some geartrain, but not everything. Find out what he really had done to it, because it sounds like he just has a shift kit and some other parts. It's not like you can just replace everything from one to the other. One other thing, if this is a grand cherokee drivetrain, then it is not a 46re, if it was older...'93 ish) then it would me a 46rh, and if it was newer (96 or so + ) it would be a 44re. If your thinking about it, just make sure he knows what it came out of.

Wow, the guy has a V8 Cherokee and what pics does he forget to include in the listing? Um, some under hood and undercarriage shots would certainly be nice.

That guy used to or still does (they went under with lack of interst I thought) run adn is the president of Skid Plate Off Road. He is a very nice guy and thought he moved Far a long time ago.

His name is James and will say he never wheel hard at all while I knew him. those tires though are the original ones from back in the day.

The extreior is green rino liner. He called it the "Frog".

He had a few dodge projects on teh side of the house and I think he swapped in all he could from them where ever he could.

Dont know if that helps at all. But I will say that the revolvers on that thing were scary.

All I know is he talks about the V8 swap and has no pics of it.

I saw it in 1999 :D. Back on my second wheeling trip out in Los Coyotes IR. He was leading a Skid Plate off-road run. Good times.

But yeah, I can't believe he didn't show a pic of the V8. That's one of the major selling points.
