Newbie from Northern IL sayin hi.

Just thought i would tell ya a little about myself. My names Andy. Im from Fox Lake IL. im 22 years old. Aand im a jeepoholic. Ive been into jeeps since my dad got his 89 Grand Wagoneer about 10 years ago. i got into XJs after my grandpa passed away in 02', and i started driving his 22,000 mile 96 sport. If any of you are familiar with the area, My grandpa owned and operated Barts Bait Shop right on Rt 12 in Fox Lake for 35 years. Thats wear i started 4 wheeling, in the swamps located behind that establishment. That car was later givin to my cousin and wrecked very shortly after that. I recently found a good deal on a 99' cherokee classic, and purchased it. I also recently Sold my 1985 442 race car project to help fund my XJ build. And am still trying to sell my 1981 Firebird Formula to do the same. I look forward to meeting many of you fellow XJ owners and also wheeling with ya.

yes thats the one. it is now moved, as i moved from that house. I used to live in round lake near Ellis elementary.
Any fiberglass questions welcome.

Greetings! I'm pretty close to ya, Gurnee. Ya know of any places to wheel around here? My buddy and I cant find a good place. If you and Jaysheep ever get together, drop me a line. I would like to tag along! Have you done anything to your Chero yet?

I dont know of any places anymore. Used to be able to go where the Home depot is at rt 12 and 134 or in Round Lake off of Fairfield (Refer's Ridge) but thats been developed years ago. I Would be glad to meet any XJ enthusists. My 99' is just about stock, Working on that though.
