New wheels(Tires Soon).

Well I have a set of 255/75/16 Dakota MT that have been sitting for a year and was looking for a set of 16x7 or 8 and my buddy had these sitting behind his shop and o thought the offset was fwd and didn't try them earlier but we were greasing the front end and working on getting fenders ready for cutting and tried them on and now i have 16x7.5 mustang gt wheels and was surprised how good they look.Im getting the tires mounted this weekend.

just mount some big offroad tires, and you should be good...

I have a set of 265/75/16's ready to go but have to go get them mounted this weekend.(im cheap and have a friend who has access to tire machine and balance machine)

they sit where the stocks do but as they are .5 inch wider they may not work with the tires i have and may have to go with spacers.

Lol we ran Cobra R's on my brothers XJ for a day, was hilarious, jeep had 10 inches of lift normally running 35's was on

please tell me you re going to do a burn out on those small tires before you do the tire swap?!?!?

Yea that wont happen.The guy who had them b4 me had been doing burnouts all morning and was getting on the interstate and the pavement was a little damp and was doing 90+ when he got sideways and rolled it 4.5 times.My buddy bought it for $200 and parted out what was left and made $600.

Well we got then on Fri. night and had to do a little massage to the rear but they rub the inside rear fender at the bump so 1.5 bb is on the list for next weekend if i get time.We also started removing the trim and found bondo on rear pass. door uke:.

you didnt hae a problem with the hub and the wheel ? I had to remove the center of my wheels to clear the hub on mine.

We took a file and shaved 1/16" and they fit great.

I like it.... looks like Eccos except they bend in at the rim.

Thats cool i used a plasma cutter on the steel wheels i have.

Thanks guys.We went wheelin Monday evening and with 450 pounds of weight(2 friends and my tools and lots of rubbing in rear so BB is on list for next weekend if all goes as planned this week.
