I've got a Factory New & unfired Remington MODEL 700 POLICE bolt-action rifle in 6.8mm SPC cal. 26" Heavy Fluted bbl. Factory box and owners manual included.

Limited Edition & NON-cataloged. Black parkerized style finish on stock and barrel.

Model 700P features an H-S Precision composite stock reinforced with Du Pont Kevlar and fiberglass. They'll stay dimensionally stable in any weather and under the worst tactical situations. The stock is laid up around an aircraft-grade aluminum bedding block that runs up the entire length of the receiver. It has a textured, black, non-reflective finish and comes w/ triple studs for installation of sling and bipod simultaneously.

I've also got a BSA 6-24 power....lighted reticule....mildot scope on it too....with a 50 mm objective lens and 3'' sun shade and screw on lens covers. Not a high dollar scope but very functional. Weaver bases and nice and heavy duty Warne Maxima quick release scope rings..


ALSO A BRAND NEW GUARDFORCE DOUBLE RIFLE... TACTICAL cloth covered HARD CASE....a pretty nice one...key lockable and with the velcro hold down straps inside it!

I sure wish this was .308.
 
308 would bring several hundred more setup like this one....friend of mine took a muley last year at 380yds with his 6.8 spc. they got more thump than one would think...some of our special forces are using these now as well. At least...according to Mack on Weaponology or future weapons....they are anyways.
 
Oh I'm sure it's a great gun, but I've been wanting the 700 in .308. I was going to get the basic rifle and heavy barrel then change out the stock, having it like this to start with would have been great.
 
Very nice gun...were I proficient at it's use, I'd consider some sort of trade. I'm not though, so I just popped on to wish you luck; there are less than 20 2.1 litre renault turbo diesels in the states, and engine repairs are astronaumical unless you can weld aluminum and do some grand machining.

have one sitting in the shop though, awaiting it's restore :P

There's 4 of those diesels in one town thats about 20 miles from me...one guy has a diesel XJ...his dad has a MJ....and a guy down the road from him has 2 diesel one's as well! LOL. I've personally seen 7 of them in the last 3 years....all within 40 miles of my house! (I drive around in alleys lookin' for deals quite alot!)
 
so do I. most likely you're seeing more XJ's than anything...those are fairly easy to find.
