New truck

Well I am going to be gettin a new truck and Im stuck on a dodge quad cab or a chevy crew cab. I want the truck to be 4 doors and 4x4 and cost about 8k. The year doesnt really matter I would like to get something fairly new. Also I would like the trucks to be gas and not diesel (Im not going to be towing alot). My question is does anyone have any experience with either one of these trucks? What did you think? Ride? Dash setup? Overall? Light towing? Yes I have searched I just want to know what you all think.

I think for anything newer and reliable without 200k miles your going to need a little more than 8k, especially for a crew cab. Gas is a lot cheaper than the used diesels seem to be demanding but they still hold good value.

Full-size? Mid-size? You can get a QC dakota with a V8 for a decent price probably.

My buddy just sold his QC dakota with the 4.7 v8 70k miles for $10k.

Dakota is rated to tow 6100 pounds.
