X10 gazillion :)

.....dude you act like my Wife when she goes shopping for shoes....."Those don't fit quite right, I'll exchange them. No they don't match anything I wear....., no maybe I will get a different color.....no they hurt when I wear them too long......."

DUDE! Make up you friggin mind and Stay with it.....:)........ This is all in jest.........

Figure out how hard you want to work on a project, what skills & tools you have to work on a project and stick with it. With a Jeep you are never really finished. Are you sure you can get $2000 for a 98 with body damage that somebody really is going to have to work on right away? You keep changing your plans spending more money each time you change you mind.

It's not even a '98.......

Sorry Keifer, not a chance. Unless you can hang a door on that driver's side, so that it works right and hangs straight..... AND give the rig a paint job.... maybe.

Commit to fixing and running the rig you have. Some of life's lessons hit really hard, but the experience you gain from them is priceless.

I think a few of us tried to discourage you from buying that '96. If you're gonna post up here looking for input or advice, listen! We won't steer you wrong.

....oops my bad brain fart there :)

'96...even worse, you paid what a $1000 for it? ..........a buyer will only pay what they think it is worth, you really do not have that much into it yet and it visually looks as if it had been totaled.......if I was stranger looking at it, I would be like right off the bat; "I got to spend this much time and money on it".......... I will find something cleaner or not in need of as much body work.

If you are hesitating that bad working on it, part it out and you could probably brake even........maybe, Yella could tell you what your parting out would net you.

well after another long debate i just thought what the hell ill keep it still need to sell my 89 so i can get a nother car while i work on this beast anyone interested? didn't think so

Once you fix the motor mount issue....... what's keeping you from driving the XJ? Why another car? That's just more expense on insurance, registration, fuel...... less for fixing the XJ.

Have you fixed the pilar/cowl and hinges so that you can put a door back on that driver's side?
