Well as some of you may know Nancy and I took our nieces to the Crawl this year. They had a great time. After we returned home, a week went by and they wanted another visit. Tyler had a small part to play in this request. But I digress, so I shall continue. Along with several locals from South Carolina, a member of Team Willys carrying the torch for the Tennessee gang, we ventured out for a day run to Uwharrie OHV Park in North Carolina. You all have seen the post.
I have received several PM’s from the girls since they returned home, as well as a few phone calls from my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and Grandma and Grandpa. Questions were asked, answered and decisions made.
I, of course, told them the news we already know. The XJ, Jeep Cherokee, is one of the best vehicles to have in your driveway. Well, they lurked around the NAXJA website, checkout what we were all enamored with and went out looking for one of their own.
As of 8:30PM EST July 31st 2009, Hillary, AKA: “Rock-Climbing-Barbie and her little sis are now the proud owners of, and I quote Hillary: “we have a new white and gold 1995 Jeep Cherokee with an automatic transmission, power windows and door locks, and it is sooooo beautiful, I just can’t believe it uncle David!” Add a few giggles and what sounded like a big grin and you get the picture.
They both want to drive it on the trails and get bigger tires and oh yes, a little bit of a lift.
I so proud of um I could just cry…..:bawl:
P.S.
They said it::NAXJA: Rocks!
I agree:worship:

Haha.... thats cool. My wife drives an XJ too... they are addicting.

Dave, you guys (and gals) need to come down to Mountainside in Sept.

that's awesome!

so, when is it getting painted black, and adding all pink accessories???

NO PINK!!! Unless its under the dash or something! lol. But, I guess we could put some beadlocks (or simulocks) on it and paint the rings pink... J-k. So, heres what Im thinking... 4.5" Rustys cause its in Hillarys Budget when she gets a job (of course it's her jeep and she gets to pick and choose what she wants, heck she might want to go all out and do long arms or something lol), loose the gold flares, cut the fenders, add some 33"s and some nice aluminum wheels, and it'll look 100% better. Then, as time and money allows, I can do a gear install with some lunchbox lockers, then frame stiffners, sliders, and bumpers. It'll be one kick ass Jeep before we know it, and all the dudes will look at her and say "Damn! You mean you drive that?!? How awesome!" I can't wait, Im more excited than they are lol.

Well the girls are slack. I am heading that way for a visit and photos!

Sweet!

Where's the neon pink???

Nice addition Blue!! I'm proud of the girls but I have to keep this hidden from Jackie or else she'll want one too. We have three in the family now, mine, hers, and ours. It is sooooooo addicting.

Yea, I bet you get a 2am call, "Uncle Dave I'm stuck!" You will get there that the damn thing will be up to its doors down by Lynches River! LMAO!

Oh Lord, I already see the pink flowers hanging from the rear view!

Looks better here than in the pic she sent me. But the gold trim HAS to go lol.

Retro is cool! Leave it like it is.

Nice...cleanest XJ i've seen in a while!!

Dave, it would be a good investment to help out with a winch to avoid this call.:D:D

That would look real good with a nice set of gently used 32" KM's. haha. But seriously, nice jeep, it looks really clean. The 2am recovery call is definitely in your future....buuut maybe not if it had a nice set of gently used 32" KM's.. LoL
