New Guy needs a T-case

First off just thought I'd say hi since I am new to the club and look forward to wheeling with all of you. but before I can do that I need a newer style 231. I put a sye in mine recently only to discover the front drive shaft out-put bearing in the front half of the case is loose in the case. I tryed to peen it but it didn't last. I bought one from pull-n-save out of a Comanche but the 4x4 indicator switch is in the wrong place and it had a few other differences. Right now I have no front drive-shaft and need one for snow so does anyone have a newer style 231 t-case or even just the front case half that they would be willing sell. thanks for any help.

When you say "newer", whaddya mean exactly?

I believe I still have the front case half in my shed from when I put the Tera-Low in my '93........ is that new enough?

Also, I'm not certain, but aren't those front output shaft bearings seated using a snap / lock ring? Maybe the ring just came out or sumpthin?

mine is a 98 so I think a 93 case will work. yes that bearing is held in by a snap/lock ring but I rebuilt the case at the same time as the sye (180,000 miles) and when I went to pull the old bearing it just came out and the new one droped in and with the front out-put in I can see it moving when I move it by hand.
