If you want to spectate the race you do not. Just have to pay to park. The race isn't in the park, it's down the street.

Welp. Thought I would update this. Sold the first XJ and doubled my money. Bought this 2000 for $2000 last week-

very little minor rust, clean on inside and out. Owned by an older woman all it's life!

Over the past week I have transformed her.

I got lucky. She's got her quirks, and at 191k miles of course she would. However, it's all very fixable little odds and ends.

That's good stuff. I paid 1700 for my 97 two years ago. It had ground issues, dirty as hell interior, saggy leaf springs, faded clear coat and holy rockers. Now my rockers are almost totally gone. Your extra $300 got you a good deal! I'm truly envious. Especially since I love that color!

Did some paint work. Went ahead and bed linered the front and rear bumpers, rockers, and stock fender flares. Eventually want to do TJ style flares and aftermarket front and rear bumpers. I like it for now.

Winterfest is at the Badlands in Attica,IN. Its usually like the beginning of March. its a lot of fun and something you should try to make it to.
