Welcome to the MWC man! Looks like you have a good rig there. IS that a Logan's Bumper on there? Make sure you introduce yourself in the midwest forum. Not sure where Ravenna is but there are quite a few guys over there in OH. Wrenchmonkey and hanaxj87 are near Cincy and bwfdrums, polar jeep 04 and 89xj grey are north of Columbus. 87manche is in OH somewhere as well.
Welcome to the forum, as stated above there are plenty of members in the midwest, watch out for them
Ravenna is SE of Cleveland IIRC. I used to live in Wood Co., NW Ohio. Miss the countryside but not my ex wife.. that's a whole nother post though... lol.
You guys ever go to Jeepskool? If you do or are interested let me know.A bunch of us are going July 4th weekend.I go all the time and it's a blast.Pm me if you want to ride out with us.
I'm not a fan of Jeep Skool. I don’t think the trails are worth what you’re paying for. Most of the trails are not to challenging; I could probably get thru most with a stock XJ (I’m not talking the deep mud crap). The harder trails are not really that hard vertically… they are more or less just horizontally tight that guarantee some body damage.
I don’t like the fact that you need to take that safety class every year. It takes up half the day and you have to pay for it and the trails. I just think it could be Run better. I’m not trying to down talk Jeep Skool, and I understand that there are not too many places in Ohio. What they are doing there is great for the off-road community, and I appreciate that fact. I’m just not a fan of it “yet”. :rattle:
Now...Wellsville is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. :lickout:
I think it has a much better variety of trails for Stock jeeps to Buggys on 40s. There are x50 amount of trails too compared to Jeep Skool. I have been going there for years and still find new trails most every time I go. It’s just the Hillbilly’s you need to watch out for.
