old_man NAXJA Forum User Location Loveland, Colorado Jun 2, 2020 #3 Really no reason not to replace them. They are a standard thread and size. I have never had a problem using the torx, I even prefer them because the socket does not come off as easily when working with a long extension.

4 4x4JeePmaNthINg NAXJA Forum User Location Colorado Jun 2, 2020 #4 use the old ones if you dont plan on getting back in there. I replaced mine for clearing a wrench more easily and for ease of removal. Just grab them from the hardware store.
