Ok so i'm gathering parts for the front WJ swap and need to re-drill my rotors. Does anyone in San Diego area have unit bearing that is set up for doing this? I just can't line up a punch or drill press with a complete unit bearing. The one i have is a good trail spair and don't wanna tear it appart. Thanks
Well being how my jeep is still together + my DD and the drill press is at work that isn't an option. The hub does a great job of keeping everything centered to. Thanks Sean!
Pretty sure I have a unit bearing still. I was keeping it as a "better then nothing" trail spare, but I'm trying to lighten my load and haven't been carrying it. It has a bit of a dead spot in it. But if you need it for centering stuff up or whatever you're welcome to it for a 22oz bottle of Stone Double Bastard (not Arrogant Bastard, DOUBLE Bastard).
Hmmmmmm.. I have a few bottles of something in the garge. (beer that is) I'n not worried about if it works or not. I'll be cutting it in half anyways. I'll let you know
I have the unit bearing I bought for my old XJ. I bought it used online off an 06 Rubicon TJ. Pretty sure the XJ d30 outers are the same as tj d44 outers. I damaged one of my unit bearings so I ordered the used one, then decided to just order two new ones and never used this one. Kept it as a trail spare, but since I have a WJ now it doesn't do me much good. I'm not in San Diego, but it's yours if you want it.
Very funny though. Piss in a bottle won't get it sealed with me. Stone DOUBLE Bastard or nothing. They have em at Henrys/Sprouts, and the Stone company retail store right now.
