Need to replace AW4

What years AW4's work/fit a 1987 Cherokee Chief 4.0l?

It should be a 21 spline output trans so anything up to 90 with a Renix engine. If you swap the transfer case as well, any AW4 will bolt up that I know of. I looked to see if there was a difference in the tranny and converter per year and find nothing so they must all be the same. The case if the only difference and input/output splines.
