hey guys, for the past several months i've been without a running jeep, and it's getting VERY old. i'm at a point where i could have my jeep running in a matter of hours, and i'm not working, so i have a butt-ton of free time.
i'd be more than happy to pay someone to help me for a day, or get all the beer you can drink, or whatever.
what i need to do is finish my transmission swap in the grand wagoneer. the old one is out, and the new one is laying under the jeep and ready to go in, i just don't possess the cahones to get that big mamma-jamma in there by meself. all i need to do is jack the thing up, put in a few bolts, cut-flare-splice in a metal cooler line, and put in some more bolts, and i'll be a jeep driver once again.:guitar:
if somebody wants to make a little extra cash, or have some good ol' fashioned labor rewarded with delicious beer, then pm, text, or call me, or just say something on here... if i can't get some help, i'll hafta get one of those shady craigslist mechanics to help me.
i live in murfreesboro

i don't really need anyone to lend knowledge, just cahones. i just need someone to help me get it on the jack, then operate the jack, and then help me hold the thing in place to get a couple bolts started.

I could do it this week but it would have to be Thursday. That's when I'm off work. Plus my jeep only does 55 with the way it's running right now. It revs to high

if you come to murfreesboro, we can fix your jeep, too! we can do yours in about an hour or so, if nothing catastrophic happens:D i really only need help for about 2 hours at this point, and i can do everything beyond picking it up and starting a couple main bolts myself. it's just a HEAVY mofo.

Well I think a bolt my be broke in the back lower part of the intake manifold. I tried to put one in without removing anything but it just wouldn't go in. So I think that's the worst of it. I'm just worried on the interstate because 55 is max I feel safe at.

is it really loud? if not, i wouldn't worry about it, otherwise, it'll be a pretty long drive from k'ville to my neighborhood. i'm about 3 hours away if you can do the speed limit. if you have a bolt broken off in the motor, that's not that big of a deal. i have a set of easy outs, so we can tackle that bad boy with a vengeance.
