Thanks guys for this awesome old thread. It encouraged me to sign up for the forums here.

I have a '94 XJ 4.0, 5 speed. I know I only have one O2 sensor (upstream) and one MAP sensor.

I am running an experimental HHO kit to try to improve mileage. It doesn't make my mileage worse, and it cleans out all the unburnt fuel so my exhaust smells clean with no cat. Because I only have OBDI, getting a plug-and-play EFIE is not an option. With the HHO, the O2 sensor thinks it is running lean when it isn't, so I need to run a simple EFIE in-between the O2 sensor signal and the ECU. Basically, I find the right voltage-bump (maybe .25 volts) to add to the signal that gets sent to the ECU to tell it things are fine or maybe a little rich so it backs off on the injectors.

I cannot find this answer anywhere. Is this O2 sensor narrow band or wide band?

Now, I am not sure if I should also tweak the MAP sensor. I can get a cheap adjuster off of eBay but I don't want to damage my fuel system. Can someone give me the specs on this sensor, such as the normal voltage ranges? Any comments on this are appreciated.

I would like to be able to monitor both sensor voltages in real time to keep an eye on how the kit runs. According to the other thread, a digital voltmeter will not work on the O2 sensor. Has this been verified? I would like to hook up my meter but if I have to find an analog one I guess I will. Could I hook to the MAP instead?

And yes, HHO can work. If you need me to explain the science to you, I will.
