Need longer u-bolts..... Where to get 'em?

Ok, I ran into this problem once before and never did find a good source in the south area, or even the greater metro area.

I need to find longer u-bolts to fit a Chrys. 8.25. Anyone have some longer-than-stock ones they wanna get rid of, or know where I can get 'em?

I called the NAPA near me when I was installing the lift on my cousin's XJ last year.... they said they don't carry any, but could special order them if I gave them the dimensions.... WTF?

David, I'll holler at ya if I can't find someone at NAPA that knows about u-bolts.

I know that the Napa wharehouse stocks long u-bolts. 98POSXJ got his there when he did his 9inch swap. Their number is 303-289-6711. Let me know if still need these ones.

Ditto on the Autozone 3" lift kit. Comes with ubolts and some craptastic aluminum blocks for around 15 bucks.

No concerns as to the quality/strength of the Vatozone bolts? I've stripped the threads on lesser quality ones..... HUGE PITA to get 'em off when that happens.....

Probably some concerns compared to 20/ea custom bent ones. Dunno, I've ran multiple sets of the VZ ubolts over the years, never had an issue with 'em. Got a set on the Comanche now, in fact I need to get back out to the garage and find those (lowering) blocks...

Napa warehouse is the place to go. They have a huge assortment of them. They are about $12 each, but work well. I have also used the vatozone ones from the block kits they sell and if they fit your axles diameter they work just as well!

Most checkers should have the u bolts in a pair with out the blocks even. I work at one down in the springs and we carry them so... should find them somewhere around you.

Hey I have a set I bought to use with 3" Blocks. Got them @predator. But I'll be putting the stock ones back on since I got 3" spring set from LED. I'll trade ya for those Shackles if ya want. I have 4 ubolts and nuts.
