Need lift gate panel clips

I'm looking for the door panel clips for the rear lift gate on my 96 XJ. For some reason I can't find any that fit at AZ, checker etc. online I found some yellow ones that are listed for a 98+. Anyone have a p/n. Looked on eBay, quadratec, rock auto, etc

You might have better luck with a NAPA store. Take one of yours in and see it they can match it.

My local Ace Hardware has a good selection of various clips in those bulk bin drawers, never looked for Jeep though.

Always fun to cruise the local u-pull-it yard too !!

Do you have OSH stores in your area? I've had good luck in their "Hard to Find" section for plastic/rubber clips & trim stuff. It's generally located at the end of the nuts/bolts aisle.

Trouble I had is that every one of them broke when I took the panel off. I assume they were the original clips and the AZ heat COOKS anything plastic like that. I don't think I have ever heard of OSH.

Try Ace Hardware, Lowe's, or Home Depot. Along with a fantastic selection of bolts, they also have a good selection of panel clips, Woodruff keys, ...
