OK... so I'm confident I should be good to go on swapping in a new radiator on my wife's '03 KJ Liberty. It's developed a leak on the plastic tank on the top drivers side (very common problem it seems).

So I ordered one f/ radiatorbarn.com and it should be here in a few days. I've also done some checking on Lost KJ Forum for some tips... However, I have not been able to find too many details w/some pics on the process. Have read several posts that actually give different information or omit stuff. I like to read thru the process on something I've not done before to try and get some tutorials so it's not just trial and error.

Any links or tips would be much appreciated. I've swapped the radiator on my old '96 XJ (now my sons) before and that was a snap... hopefully the Libby is similarly as easy.

KJ radiators are super easy to replace. Should take ~1-1.5 hrs. It'll be similar to your XJ, but with more room.

Thanks.

I have a friend who asked if I could replace the radiator in her '01 Grand Cherokee and looking at what needed to be done in order to get it replaced I deferred it to the quote she got f/the shop. Have to pull the entire front end off that (according to the info I could find) to change out that small Single core radiator.

I was hoping the KJ wouldn't be the same ordeal.
