Need help with installing my 8.25 gears

Totally happy with the results. Ground the gears a bit, but even so, the cross shaft wouldn't spin around the gear to drop in place. So I had to trim the window cover of the center shaft... No big deal but now it is stuck in there. Another day....

We settled on 0.030 ( I think.) Pinion depth was fine, and the pattern worked great.

The gears are silent, the locker is not. haha. Way quieter than the aussie locker I used to have.

I installed Detroit's D30 and Chry 8.25 had the same issue with the c-clip in the 8 1/4", makes you wonder huh???
