NEED HELP FAST

Dropping in the optima yellow top has worked:clap:.....for now. im still expecting more problems, its just the way i am. im thinking battery cables and an alternator upgrade is coming soon. thanks for youre help guys, especially KGP.

Glad to hear you got it taken care of.

FWIW, I've bought almost all of my batteries at WM and never had a problem with them.

Here are the voltages and state of charge numbers

12.6 volts = 100% charge
12.4 volts = 75% charge
12.2 volts = 50% charge
12.0 volts = 25% charge
11.8 volts = 0% charge

As you can see a small voltage change can mean the difference between a live or dead battery.

I buy and sell batteries everyday so I have a lot of information at my fingertips.

Better tell them what temperature these numbers are for. :rtm:

The manual I have shows these numbers based on 80* and the related charge times to bring a battery up to full charge.

It does have a disclaimer that states "Charging time depends upon battery capacity, condition, age, temperature and efficiency of the charger".
